Urban Planning
I marked Ecology/Sustainability, but I'm coming at this from an Urban Planning perspective so obviously there is a lot of overlap.
Resillience
I ticked the same although my interest is in Integral Resillience. Resilliece is how a system can take the knocks or disturbances and still maintain its function. This concept scales from a single organalle to a solar system, perhaps a universe. I am more interested in food producing systems as I see the looming food insecurity as a threat to humanity. I am unaware of anybody using the quadrants to examine this subject. Does any body else have information on this?
Water Technology
I am finishing up my B.S. in environmental science and I am very interested in Integral Ecology. I can't wait for the Michael Zimmerman/ Sean Hargens book. That being said, I am really interested in integral theory as a whole. Keep up the great work!

Consciousness Leadership and Consciuous Capitalism
I am a serial high-tech entrepreneur (computer scientist, AI), an angel investor in high-tech, bio-tech, and bio-fuels, a book author, a humanist, and a philanthropist.
However, at this stage in my life (and after being born and raised very poor in communist Romania), I am much more interested in how to bring more meaning into the heart of capitalism, at the core of money making.
I wonder if higher levels of consciousness and capitalism are compatible and whether leaders in consciousness can help change the status quo? This is the topic of my dissertation in consciousness.

Integral in Spanish
I am convinced that influencing the consciousness of the decision makers... the business owners is crucial to the development of consciousness of societies especially in the Latin American countries.
I am an industrial engineer and changed my carrer from a Telecommunications executive, to pursuing my dream of becoming a teacher of human development for the Hispanic world. Actually living in Sedona Arizona and working with the Sedona Method.
I will like to discuss the topic and also to find ways to produce a body of knowledge and trainigs applicable in the Hispanic world. I will like to pursue the Organization Management and Development (OMD) that starts in September 2008.
Integral in Spanish
I speak little Spanish but work with Hispanic communities almost exclusively. I retired from aerospace industry 4 years ago and havesince founded a telecommunications company that provides TV, internet, surveillance, VOIP and other bundeled services to largely Hispanic condensed living communities.
My dream in life is bundle social services with telecommunications products and services that improve the life of these communities that live in fear and open themselves up for exploitation and suffering.
Looking for ideas.

Conscious Business
Interesting indeed - I am working with a group of Change Facilitators on what we are calling a Conscious Management Program. In addition, I have been leading a course here in Prague called Living Awareness ( description below) and plan to develop this into a management offering as well. Also, developing a workshop/seminar with my Finnish hi-tech buddies (actually gals) called Co-creation in a MOdern Virtual World - So lets hook up and co-create.

“Coming (in)to our senses”
Are we living our lives with awareness? Are we taking in the smell of orange peels as we peel a mandarin? When we are listening to someone – do we really pay attention, do we notice the wrinkles of tension or how the laughter is covering up the pain behind their story? When we are reading a passage in a book, are we able to focus to be able to understand or are we constantly distracted by wandering thoughts?
This course is about reconnecting with our ability to function effectively – to ´come to our senses´. There will be evening talks (with translation into Czech) , discussions, readings and most importantly we will practice classical meditation which is a means of using our mind- and the thoughts and emotional states that arise rather than being used by it. We can actually tame our wild mind and live our lives with more calm, gentleness and attention.

Sometime mala feels that Ken is having high vocabulary and very complex statements which mala hardly understand. Is it necessary to go so complex in spritual matters? Can he become like a Mahrshi Raman, if at all he has heard the name of that big personality, by reading the books by Paul Burton, i doubt it. With such a complex personality he might not be knowing all these names because they were very simple people. Anyway it is his job to be simple or to become complex.
Mala just wants to tell him that spiritulity is not the subject for discussions, but it is for pactical application. God just wants your love he does not want you to understand him, which is never understood, just have the experience which can never be discribed.

Actually, I am interested in all the different fields. However, wasn't quite sure how the poll worked so when I clicked the last one (spiritual - practice) and selected vote it took that last one as my only choice. Perhaps others experienced this also and thus the higher numbers for that field.

I marked Ecology/Sustainability also, even though I'm interested in all of these applications. I feel called on to help bring a love for nature to children. An integrative approach to the environment ( and to life) makes sense. Will the experience of "Nature" one day be only that of the virtual world? Where are the kids and why aren't they playing outdoors?

I chair an institute for sustainable development in the Philippines. We label our approach (theory and praxis) "ECSOM" meaning Ecosystem-based, Community-centred, Sustainable-development, Organization and Management. We define community as a cluster of Human Settlements domiciled on a unit micro ecosystem such as a watershed area including coastal and offshore marine waters and consider this the unit of sustainable development O & M. I found the poll's posing a choice inconsistent with our concept of "integral" which makes "all of the above" including spirituality practice part of the entire system.

Education, of course. How do we educate ourselves and our descendants - transcend and include - the generations? Perhaps the greatest difficulty for humanity so far has been in transmission of the knowledge.

Spiritual-general 11%, spiritual practice 26%, psychology 11% ecology /sustainability 4%. Does this mean that people are more concerned with their interior than their exterior? If this is true does it mean that the interiors need more attention or that people feel powerless to effect the exteriors.
Given that we are
Given that we are co-creators, the interior work, or spiritual practice, seems most critical for me. Perhaps it's because my heart is ahead of my practice. I've been interested in a long time on transforming our world, the bringing for of the "Kingdom of God." Jesus said it is already here, so I need to be trained or to train myself to see it. I've thought for a long time that the world that we see is to a significant degree a reflection of our collective consciousness. As a consequence, my wife and I have set out to help transform our individual and collective consciousness by building what we call Clayton Creek. Now it is just a large log structure that we live in and a shared dream. We will need help and guidence and friends.
