AQAL Journal Conference Calls - Integral Psychology

AJ.jpgIt's a pleasure to remind you about some of the greatest opportunities available to members of Integral Institute to personally connect with Ken Wilber. Please join us this weekend for Ken's bi-weekly conference call!

In the psychoanalytic world

In the psychoanalytic world there is a movement afoot mostly referred to as a growth from a one-person psychology to a two-person psychology. This movement has spurred on a corresponding growth in research in all four quadrants of the AQAL model, but especially the lower quadrants. This research is geared towards an understanding of the Zone 3 experience with respect to the dyad as opposed to community. As psychoanalysts are wont to do, their research concentrates mostly on the first 6 years of life. I am interested in dyadic, left lower quadrant development after this period, in particular middle adult life. I would very much like to hear your take on this aspect of the quadrants, its relationship to psychological and spiritual development, and the application of this aspect of development to the therapeutic dyad.
